Interested in art? – Why not join
The club has been running for a couple of years, initially with help from Communities First to which we are very grateful. We meet every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm at Ysgol Syr John Rhys school hall, Ponterwyd and new members from complete beginners to budding Van Gochs are more than welcome.
We have members who paint in watercolour, acrylics, oil, use pencil, pastels and charcoal in fact if it can be used we have a go.
We have regular tutors who provide interesting demonstrations and workshops in various media and subjects.
The club holds an annual exhibition and displays of work.
Meetings are very informal and members work on their own projects in the medium of their choice
