A\u00a0further development is being proposed by the Police. The proposal is to merge Neighbourhood Watch with the Home Watch scheme, and the Police have suggested that separate areas within Ponterwyd such as Pen Lon and Maes-yr-Awel are represented by their own Co-ordinators. Regular meetings between the Police and the Co-ordinators could then be held to discuss issues and concerns that have been raised. PC Mark Jones<\/b> (1072) is our Neighbourhood Policing Officer, and our contact officer for Neighbourhood Watch and Home Watch.
